Garden Grove is located off the 22 Freeway (Garden Grove Freeway) at Brookhurst and Euclid and is surrounded by the communities of Cypress to the northwest, Westminister to the southwest, Santa Ana to the southeast, and Orange to the northeast.

Garden Grove is home to approximately 175,000 people and consists of over 45,000 housing units.  Garden Grove was incorporated in 1956 and the real estate development boom like many other communities in northern Orange County occured right after World War II.  Prior to the housing boom, Garden Grove was an agricultural center for citrus groves, strawberries, avacados and nuts.

Today Garden Grove is most well known for the famous Crystal Cathedral (pictured above).  This community is also home to three playhouses and one of the largest festivals in the west known as the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival which draws over 250,000 people per year.  Garden Grove is also just a few miles from the Block at Orange, where there are numerous shops, restaurants and movie theater, and from Main Place mall.

Garden Grove real estate ranges in price from the $200,000s for a starter unit up to $1-2.5 for a luxury home with over 5,000 square feet and a large lot.  Garden Grove condos range from 600-1800 square feet on average and Garden Grove homes range from 1200-5000+ square feet.  The age of Garden Grove real estate ranges from the early 1900s to present with most homes and condos being developed in the 1960s and 1970s.  Over the past decade, Garden Grove has seen a lot of redevelopment and many homes and condos have been upgraded with the latest modern amenities.
