La Palma is a community located in northern Orange County and is bordered by Cypress, Cerritos, Buena Park, and Anaheim. La Palma is most easily accesible via the 605 Freeway at La Palma.
La Palma was originally known as Dairy Land and as the dairy farms moved east in the 1960s as the housing boom began, the name was changed to La Palma. Today, La Palma is a community of a little over 15,000 people and 4,900 households. Recently, La Palma was named one of the Top 50 small cities to live in by Money Magazine.
La Palma real estate consists of primarily condos and single family homes built during the 1960s and 1970s with some relatively new development. La Palma ranges on average from $200,000 for a condo to $450,000 for a single family home with some prices ranging up to $800,000 - $900,000.
