Laguna Beach Overview

Laguna Beach, the second oldest city in Southern Orange County, was once a thriving artist community and today continues to have many art galleries along Pacific Coast Highway, but is also a major resort destination offering many different places to say from the old Laguna Inn to the Montague, a newer luxury resort, to vacation homes for rent.  Located just north of Dana Point, south of Newport Coast and west of Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel, this community is most easily accessible from Pacific Coast Highway, 73 Tollroad or California State Route 133 / Laguna Canyon Road.  This community has many steep hillsides and tucked away coves, allowing for amazing ocean views and private hidden beaches with some of the most beautiful turquoise water.  Sunset Magazine recently voted Laguna Beach the #1 Beach in the West, which is no surprise givent the private hidden beaches and coves, some of which with beautiful turquoise water, to the plethora of boutique shops from antiques and arts to clothing and dining and entertainment from a rooftop lounge with spectactular ocean views to unique and high-end restaurants such as French 75.

Laguna Beach real estate primarily consists of semi-custom and custom homes nestled into the hillsides or along the cliffs providing spectacular ocean views as well as some high-end ocean front condo developments.  Laguna Beach is one of the most expensive places to live in Orange County, so expect to pay well over $1 million on a property.
