Stanton is known for three major events each year - Summerfest, a Halloween Fair, and Christmas in the City.

Since the population of Stanton exploded after World War II, most Stanton homes and condos were built during the 1950s to 1970s. As the community has aged, many areas have seen lots of redevelopment improving home values and making for more modern homes in the community. Stanton condos start in the $100,000s on average and homes in the $200,000s with some home prices into the $700,000 - $800,000 pricing points for newer development, large square footage, and lot size.
